Privacy policy

No data collection

UPS Monitor does not send your server settings, credentials, UPS readings or usage to the developer. It has no user accounts, advertising, tracking or analytics services.

Direct server connection

The app connects only to the NUT server you configure to read UPS information. Optional credentials are sent to that server. NUT TCP in this version is unencrypted; use a trusted network or your own VPN.

Local storage

Connection settings and alert preferences are stored on your device. Passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain without iCloud Keychain synchronization. UPS readings and events are kept in the app’s private storage for up to 7 days. Your iOS backup settings may include app data in device backups.

Permissions

Local network access is used to reach your NUT server. Notifications are optional and generated locally only from events observed while the app is active and connected. No push notification service is used.

Your choices

You can disable event notifications, delete saved connections, clear a UPS history from its chart menu, or export a CSV file. Exports are shared only with the destination you choose. Removing a connection keeps its history until it expires or you clear it.

Demo mode

Demo mode uses clearly labelled sample data. It does not contact a server, change your saved connections, write sample history to disk or send notifications. Sample data is discarded when you exit the demo.

This support website

This website does not include analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. When you visit it, the hosting server receives technical information, including your IP address and request details, needed to serve the pages. Hosting is provided by Hostinger.

If you email us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to send so we can answer your support or privacy query. Do not send passwords, private server addresses or unredacted diagnostics.
